Pune Metro has dispatched a challenge wherein occupants can recommend a name for the movement card for Pune. The Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation (Maha-Metro) said that as opposed to giving the card a nonexclusive name, the association needs to give it an “identity” connected to Pune City, and needs to welcome inhabitants to take an interest in the naming cycle.
The Metro is intending to dispatch its movement card as a “common mobility card” for Pune City, which will be acknowledged by different methods of movement too.
“Once we near the commencement of operations, we will approach PMPML, cellphone-based cab services like Ola and Uber, and suburban railways, so the card can be used for these services as well,” said Hemant Sonawane, Public Relations Officer, Pune Metro.
