For metro project Maharashtra govt nod for transfer of 7.14 ha land to PMRDA

The Dairy Development office has almost 12.22 hectares of land in Shivajinagar and the PMRDA had looked for 7.14 hectares of that, close by the Mumbai-Pune interstate, expressed an administration goal.

The Maharashtra government on Friday affirmed move of 7.14 hectares in Shivajinagar from the Dairy Development office to the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA), for the Metro rail venture from Hinjewadi to Shivajinagar.

The Dairy Development office has almost 12.22 hectares of land in Shivajinagar and the PMRDA had looked for 7.14 hectares of that, close by the Mumbai-Pune roadway, expressed an administration goal.

Consequently, the PMRDA will recreate a few structures in the region for the Dairy Development Department. “PMRDA should develop a dairy with an ability to store 50,000 liters of milk each day, another regulatory structure and staff quarters at an expense of Rs 88.85 crore according to the arrangement put together by the office,” said a PMRDA official.

While the PMRDA is building up the Metro rail course from Hinjewadi to Shivainagar, Maha-Metro is building the other two Metro courses in Pune, from Vanaz to Ramwadi and from Pimpri-Chinchwad to Swargate.
