Those with open tickets may before long have the option to go on special trains, at present operational across divisions of the Central Railway.
The service of railroads, in a letter to every zonal railroads, has given endorsement available to be purchased of open tickets for uncommon trains. Shivaji Sutar, boss advertising official, Central Railway, revealed to TOI that the zonal railroads would choose when they need to begin offer of open tickets.
A source in the Central Railway, having five divisions, including Pune, said talks were on in this association. “The final decision would be taken by the ministry,” the authority said. The service, in a letter on December 8, said open ticket deal through different mediums may be permitted in all zonal railways.
