The service of defence has given on the Pune and Khadki cantonment sheets with grants under the classification of “General Health – Challenge of Covid”. The honor was sacked by two of three Cantonment sheets situated in Pune.
The service has dispatched this class of grants this year, considering the Covid pandemic, to perceive and recognize endeavors being made by different Cantonment sheets and emergency clinics to counter the infection.
Consistently, the Raksha Mantri grant is given in six classes, including training, improvement in emergency clinics, record the executives, study, disinfection, upkeep of distinctively abled schools.
Presently this new award classification has been added.
PCB’s Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel clinic and Khadki’s Dr Baba Saheb Ambedkar emergency clinic were met with the honors.
The honor was for all intents and purposes introduced through video gathering on December 16, 2020.
PCB chief executive officer Amit Kumar said, “It may be noted that Pune Cantonment Board has been one of the foremost local bodies to declare its Cantonment General Hospital as a designated Covid health care centre. The board has also equipped its hospital with 20 ICU beds. Pune Cantonment witnessed the highest recovery rate in the district. The number of deaths in Pune Cantonment Hospital has among the least as compared to the number of patients treated.”
PCB was additionally met with the Raksha Mantri Award for Excellence in the fields of progress of working of grade schools, improvement in working of auxiliary and higher optional schools and improvement in working of the medical clinic in the year 2019. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Cantonment General Hospital of Pune Cantonment Board has gotten the Raksha Mantri Award for a second continuous year.
